| Club Meetings
We meet every Friday at The Hoy Pub on Creek Road in Greenwich, South East London, from 7:30pm. The only criteria to become a member of our club is that you ride a scooter and that you attend club meetings. It doesn't matter to us if you are not into the scooter rallies, music or the scene in general, or whether you ride a classic Vespa or Lambretta or if you ride an automatic. The bottom line is: If you like scooters we should get on fine! |

Brief History
The Nutty Boyz Scooter Club was founded over a few beers in the Lambeth Walk pub in 1989 by the remains of the Unforgettables SC. Those few that were left were Mark (Hooligan), Gary (Explosion), Kev (Poplar Kev) and Karl (Velcro) and several other associates. It was a very loosely run affair in that there were no structured regular meetings. It was just a group of mates meeting up in Carnaby Street on a Saturday afternoon and attending the Mod rallies of the late 1980's. |

By 1990, the Nutty Boyz had fizzled out somewhat because we were all beginning to drift away and settle down although we occasionally met up and had a laugh. One day in May 2003 Explosion was outside his house in South London when a scooter pulled up. The rider, still with his crash helmet on spoke the words 'I bet you didn't think you would see me back on a Vespa'. Off came the helmet and there was Hooligan!! |

Many more meetings followed between Hooligan and Explosion who in turn gathered up Kev and Velcro and loosely discussed the idea of the Nutty Boyz reforming. In August 2003 the boyz headed off to Mersea Island Scooter Rally. It was to be Hooligan's first rally in 14 years. What a laugh!! As the weekend rolled on and these 30-something's morphed back into 18 year olds again, it was decided that the Nutty Boyz would reform and make a full time return to the scootering world. It had taken many years (and many beers) to happen, but the scooter scene is what we had all missed. |
